NCA Draft Test -hosted by GLNC

draft test

The Great Lakes Newfoundland Club will host two (2) draft tests on site in conjunction with the National Specialty. The first test will be on Monday, May 3, and the second test will be held on Tuesday, May 4.
Each test will be limited to twelve (12) handler/dog teams. Entries will be accepted beginning with March 1, 2010, postmarks. Entries received or postmarked prior to March 1, 2010, will be returned.
Entries will close at the home of the Test Secretary, Marie Acosta, at 5:00 p.m. on April 1, 2010. If the limit is exceeded by entries postmarked on the same day, a lottery will be used to determine the entrants to fill the available slots. Exhibitors may enter both tests, but priority will be given to accommodating all entrants in at least one of the tests. An alternate list will be maintained by order of postmark date, and a lottery will be used for postmarks that are the same date. Premium lists will be available on line at www.glnewfclub.org, or for additional information and a premium list contact Barbara Frey.

annual meeting

The NCA Annual Meeting will take place immediately following the Welcome Reception. As always, it will be an opportunity to review what has been going on with the Newfoundland Club of America during the past year. It is also the time that NCA recognizes its Top Dogs (Conformation, Obedience, Versatile Newfoundlands, Working Achievement Recipients, ROMs , etc.), Juniors, and other award winners. Enjoy some delicious dessert, too.
